She was born October 13, 1947 at Noblesville, IN to  Glen and Verone (Douglas) Carson.  Her parents preceded her in death.

She attended Jackson Township Schools and graduated from Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1965.  She then furthered her education, earning a BS Degree in education and Master's Degree, also in education.  Returning to her home town, she taught English and history at the Hamilton Heights Middle School for 35 years.

Leisure time would find her reading, taking good care of her indoor and outdoor cats, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter: Kathryn Elizabeth (Jason) Robbins of Greencastle IN and a grandson: Jeremy Robbins also of Greencastle.
